Wordless Wednesday. Now we dance.

August 14, 2013

Bits and Pieces

It was her first dance lesson yesterday, and even Christmas wouldn’t have been so exciting. It was a magical half hour, and despite looking a little lost occasionally, she just loved it.

And she wants to go back. Today, tomorrow and forever. What have we done?

What activities do your little ones do? The boys always did soccer, so this frilly pink stuff is all very new to me!

It’s been a while, but I’m chuffed to be linking this up with the lovely Trish over at My Little Drummer Boys. See you there.

      Thanks Trish :)
I was never a dancing girl – far too uncoordinated and tomboyish, so I loved watching her enjoy this so much.
Thanks again for the great link up x

Thank you, Lisa and I guess we’re going to be right into it now after she loved it so much!
I had pigeon toes and was awkward and so half a term of jazz ballet (done very badly by me!) was all I did before taking tennis a little more seriously x

She’s a little doll, and reminds me of my little ballerina when she started. We’ve since moved onto piano, and now guitar and tennis. I don’t really remember having so many opportunities when I was little.
I love that your little possum has so much enthusiasm :)

Thanks Lisa! And I do think you are right – when I was little it was one activity only and even then I can’t remember starting this young. Sounds like your girl has diverse talents :)

My daughter did gym and now we have her doing soccer and little athletics, now I feel guilty and should get her to try ballet, but she’s not very coordinated, and LOVES rockin gangham style more than ballet :( xx

Oh Em, I was THE most unco/tomboy kid ever and I remember only lasting a few weeks at Jazz Ballet – I was crap at it!! She’s been floating and dancing around the house for aaaaages now, so we had to give it a try. Must say, I’m not missing early morning soccer games lol!
