Wordless Wednesday – and it is about words!

Bits and Pieces

So many wars of wit and words have been waged on this old scrabble board. It’s been around for a while, this one, can’t you tell?

I {heart} scrabble. What’s your game?

My husband and I play a lot of scrabble. He is very smart but I won the last game. I haven’t played again since. I don’t want to lose the bragging rights. Rachel x

That looks just like my Aunty’s scrabble board. My mum and her sisters play scrabble every Sunday afternoon and have used the same scrabble set for decades!

Seeing that board brought back memories! I don’t know if our old Scrabble board is still at my parent’s place but it looked exactly like that one! I imagine today every piece is plastic?

Love scrabble. The moment came when my Mumsie the wordsmith lost to me. I felt so bad but also great because she is a brainiac!
