It’d be a lucky family that could agree on a playlist that pleased all of it’s members, wouldn’t it? Have you too experienced a car trip from hell, where not only the kids are fighting about what CD to slide in but the grown ups can’t agree either? It’s pretty normal, I’m thinking, for generations within a family to be completely at odds with their musical tastes (or lack of taste, maybe?) I know the saying that ‘variety is the spice of life’ should promote tolerance and acceptance but I’m going to put it out there that certain crap that others in my family listen to just won’t ever be my cup of tea and it’s my belief that driver’s choice is trumps! AND, because I drive all of the time, I win! BOOYAH!!!
So I’m very sorry boys, later on today when we head out, we will NOT be listening to The Top 16 DubStep Shitty Dance Your Bum Off CD (or whatever your latest volume is tittled), but rather THIS is what will be playing, and it’s music to Mum’s ears.
I love me a bit of Jack Johnson, especially in this drizzly weather we’re having! Who will you be putting on in the car next?
I’m joining up again with the lovely Cass Can Sew for her Sunday Session #6, where she rocks out to a bit of Led Zeplin!

Check out Cass’ place for some Sunday grooves and if you blog, add a music post too!

You know, I gave birth to the twinlets with Jack in the background. Very surreal moment. And if memory recalls correctly. It was “Better Together” :) x

Oh Grace, that is absolutely lovely and goosepimply too – what perfect background music to enter the world to xx
PS. I had plans of listening to Enya (I know, I know) when my middle young man was born but think I only got two songs in before screeching “turn that shit off!!!!”. Obviously I did not have enough drugs on board!!
